UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos talks about his first encounter with Fabricio Werdum at UFC 90 and his subsequent triumph. This is the first Breakthrough Moment and was created from outtakes of Dos Santos’ Breakthrough Best Performance interview. The idea for Moment came to me a while back, while editing the Vitor Belfort interview, when I realized that I was leaving a lot of content on the cutting room floor, as they say. Post production on Dos Santos Best Performance was happening much earlier than previous Breakthrough’s and it made sense to release something that could tease the longer episode yet be strong enough to stand on it’s own. Some elements from Moment will appear in the Best Performance edit, but by-and-large the Moment edit is unique.
