While passing a lap car, Ron Hornaday gets loose and slides up into Kyle Busch. Both drivers get into the wall and the caution is thrown. While under yellow, Kyle Busch shows his displeasure off by hooking Ron into the wall head on, identical to Jeff Gordon and Jeff Burton last season. Denny Hamlin gave up the lead with less than 10 laps left Monday when he headed to pit road for tires. He then rallied from ninth place to the lead in a span of just four laps. The finish was a two-lap sprint in which he started fourth. He pushed Ryan Newman out of this way, then slipped inside Matt Kenseth and leader Jeff Gordon for the win.
