Like, I am in 7th grade. Ok, so yes. I want someone to like me, but I will live on without a bf (and I have my whole life)
But, all of the girls that I know are all into boys, and even worse drama. I have a lot of guys as just friends, and I do like someone but I am not wishing on every star that he will ask me out cuz we are still young! Drama is something I try to avoid all the time. Like, it just stresses me out more than I need to be! So I avoid it, but my friend is always like ” I am talking about gossip” (repeats) or “Oh, I have to go tell (so and so) what I heard about (another so and so) I mean, it’s sooo annoying.
And trying to conform with everyone else. I mean, I know a lot of us do it. A lot of us talk/text the same way, dress the same way, act the same way, etc. Because we are afraid to be made fun of or not fit it. I would lie to say I don’t conform at all. But, some people (including some guys) change who they are around certain people. That gets on my nerves because sometimes they will treat me very bad when they are around some people, but nice when we are alone/with other people.
So how come almost everyone in middle school is like this? I don’t mean to generalize it, sorry if I come off this way. I am just wondering why it seems like the majority of my school seems to be like this.

Answer by Justine - it’s the exact same in high school. it NEVER ENDS. lol jk. but it is annoying. my stupid friends kept saying ‘jk’ and ‘lol’ and now i’m stuck with it. it is really annoying when people are fakes. there’s people like that everywhere. maybe you should make a couple new friends, who are down to earth people and are fun to be around. focus more on school than drama or boyfriends. the people with drama and bfs/gfs have a lot of crap going on, and they don’t really do well in school. everything depends on your education, not who’s going out with your friend. focus more on that, and less on the social crap. my friends are failing almost all of their classes, and it’s really sad because they’re nice people, but there’s so much drama going on, that they don’t focus on what’s most important. good luck!

I just don’t get why its plastered all over the news and magazines when someone gets something cosmetic done. Why is it SO scandalous? I know that its because they are celebrities and people are fascinated with every little thing that they do, but…. come on! On the other hand though, why do starts deny having “work” done? Who cares? You got a boob job and it looks great. Good for you. Why deny things like that when its so obvious?
I admit that I like some of the “celebrity gossip”, but other times its just ridiculous. These people are normal people just like you and me.

So there’s this girl who’s a complete liar. She acts like she’s all bad, for example. She said she has a tatto on her back of a butterfly. We asked if we can see if, she refused. She said “It doesn’t hurt at all.” We finally saw her back, and she didn’t have anything. Not even one little piercing. She told my friend, (before we met) that I was all bad. She doesn’t even know me! Then that’s kind of how my best friend and I met. Then, my other friend started to kick it with her, but she didn’t know about the little incident between me and her. I didn’t want to be mean, but I did warn her. She didn’t listen. After that, she kept following us around. Then finally my friend told her off. Now’s she’s telling her “gossip” crew; she’s telling them all of our secrets! Nothings going right, but almost our whole entire grade is against her. Maybe even her crew….

Answer by Brad White If all these people are against her, what is there to worry about? Talk about her lie about the tattoo and all. Catch her in every lie and mistake she makes. Or if you want to end this in a nice way you could just talk to her and become her friend. Although then the whole grade might be against you. I say just fight fire with fire. Good luck
